One of the implications of relying on VSCode as the main tool for writing this website is that custom tooling might be required to enable the functionality I need. Although I’m not very proficient in TypeScript, I’m still deciding on this language because it’s the language of choice for developing anything on the web and VSCode extensions.
Existing tools that have already been written in another language, such as 🌐 My Website Generator, can remain as is and will not immediately be rewritten in TypeScript.
