The perfect tool for arranging multiple windows on your desktop is Amethyst: a window tiling manager for macOS that automatically arranges and resizes windows in a grid layout. It allows you to easily organise your windows and workspaces without having to manually resize and position them yourself.

The main advantages of this tool are the increased productivity, customisation options and ease of use. One downside is that not all windows are resizable to an appropriate size (e.g., 1/4th of the screen). This occurred to me with apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Spotify and Todoist. It’s always possible to use the browser version or move them to a separate space instead.
